Greg Trebil CFP®, AIF®
In his role as Director of Investments & Financial Planning, Greg serves as Chair of the Tradition Wealth Management Investment Committee and oversees the firm’s overall investment process, strategies, and research efforts. His extensive analysis of the economic outlook and each major asset class forms the basis for strategy and tactical allocation decisions within a suite of core model portfolios he manages on behalf of the firm.
Additionally, he is responsible for the due diligence and selection of investment managers for client portfolios and numerous business retirement plans the firm manages.
Greg has more than 30 years of investment experience, including the past 10 years in the personal wealth management business. Prior to that, his career focused on institutional investing at both traditional mutual fund asset managers and private alternative investment / hedge funds. Over a period spanning nearly two decades, he held roles including investment analyst, trading, portfolio management, and managing director.
He received a bachelor's degree in Financial Economics from Gustavus Adolphus College, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance from the University of St. Thomas. Greg is a Registered Investment Advisor, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) practitioner and holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) Designation.
